YouTube videos are not related to DIRECTV, so a loss of closed captioning on YouTube is perhaps because CC is turned off on the YouTube app. What device are you using?

The captioning for UTube videos work fine, it’s when I switch back to DIRECTV the captioning doesn’t work very well.
