Channel missing today.

I am missing NBC NY this morning. All I get is the DirecTV logo.

AFAIK WNBC should be working fine. What receiver model do you have and have you tried a red button reset ( side by the access card for HR54 series or front where it says ‘PUSH’)? Moreover, what happens when you manually with the directv keypads while on live TV, push ‘4’?
are you seeing channel 4 in your Guide? Does tuning to it show the directv logo?

WNBC NY Channel 4 in my area is not working fine. Every other of the hundreds of channels I get are working just fine. It's not my receiver and resetting it does nothing. No matter how you go to the channel it still only shows the DIRECTV logo. I have the Genie 2 Tower server running 2 TV's. I have had DIRECTV for over 20 years. I have had quite a few receivers in that time. I have always gotten NBC NY channel 4 as one of my local channels and never had an issue until today.

I found out if you go to channel 392 ( NBCeHD) instead of channel 4 it works so it can't be a program dispute.

Right. It must either be an NBC broadcasting issue to DIRECTV or a DIRECTV issue. As long as 392 works use that for now. Hopefully channel 4 will be fixed in the next few days

This issue has been resolved for me.  I didn't take any action.
