Channel 338

Channel 338 has disappeared from list of available channels. I have tried resting the box as suggested, but it has not helped. Any further suggestions?

We have not changed our package plan. The channel just disappeared & we have done not changes to our account.

Working here so either you are using a favorites list accidentally that doesn't have it or something else.

Just wondering if it could it have been removed from the current package plan that I have? And now it starts at the Choice plan.

What message do you see if you tune directly to that channel?

It's not on my list of available channels anymore. When it was there, but unavailable it was grayed out. The message said,  if I thought that I should be getting this channel & there was a miscommunication reset the DVR box, which I did a few days later. By then the channel way totally gone from my list of channels & it was not even there is a grayed out form.

Try entering the channel number directly, not from the Guide. 

You do have DirecTV Satellite service, right?

So, it is grayed out on my non-HD TV. And doesn't so up on my HD TV. So Direct TV must have removed it from the plan I'm on. As I had this channel a week & half ago. I will look into the plan option & see if it's worth the cost to change.

DTV sends Emails and billing inserts before they change their channel packages as they did when the A&E channels where moved to different packages a couple years ago.

Again I ask ....

Try entering the channel number directly, not from the Guide. What on-screen message do you see? That will give us information to tell you if it's part of your subscription package. 

You do have DirecTV Satellite service, right?

Yes I have direct TV satellite..  it tells me that I have to add this channel with 3 option to order.

This happened with 2 channels, but I only started looking into 1. (326 & 338)  They both say the same thing when I select them & they are both gray.

And again a week or so ago we had both channels.  So this leads me to believe that they have been removed from my package.

Your account may have glitched and didn't get the change when DTV moved the channels around and now it was refreshed and is now up to date.
