Cannot get back to Directv programming from Netflix

I have Directv on a Samsung Smart TV.  I also have and watch Netflix and Prime.  No problem going to either of those from Directv programs but when I try to GO BACK to Directv I cannot.   The TV has no Directv icon anywhere.  The only way I've found to get back to DTV is to turn everything off and the on again and it comes on with Directv.   This is NUTS!!  Has anyone solved my issue>?>
