Can not record or delete recording using the Streaming app!

Decided to give DTV streaming a try.  I have a FireTV Max for my streaming platform, and I also have the DirectV app installed on my Pixel phone.

I am also a Genie DVR customer with Sat TV with 4 clients that I pay $7 a month for so I thought I would give streaming a try maybe to save that cost.

However,  after loading the app I can not record streaming, the app will not let me, no selection.  So I recorded using my Genie and the video is in my DTV Library.  I can not delete recording, no selection, and now I have 6 useless recording in the Library.  Even when I delete them using the Genie and they magically appear back in my Library.

Does anyone at DTV test their stuff?????   I also can not record or delete using the Android app, no selection.

The record, delete recording is a mess with the streaming app.

Recordings on the Genie can only be deleted from the Genie or from the minis. DTV sat and DTV via the internet AKA DTV streaming are separate services so one can't control the other.

Does not explain how to delete your recording, clean up your library using the DTV streaming app or mobile app.  There is no option to delete recordings.

Hello there! We're sorry you have trouble deleting your recordings. Please follow the next steps to delete all recordings in a series. 

1. Highlight the recorded program tile, displaying the number of episodes recorded. 
2. Press the right arrow, to highlight the Trash Can, then press OK.
3. A message displays. This program is now deleted. Press Select to undo. If you change your mind and do not want to cancel the recordings, press OK to undo the cancel request.
