Blue screen with DIRECTV logo

My service will stop and all I get is a blue screen with the DIRECTV logo. This is the 2nd receiver doing the same thing. Once I reset the receiver - it’s ok for a few hours if I’m lucky. Any suggestions??

Hi, @DannysGirl21. We'd like to know more about this issue. Does the logo move on the screen? If it moves, it's the screensaver; if not, it shows between programs, typically before and after sports. It may also show on other channels without scheduled programming. Additionally, does it display an on-screen error message? Charles, DIRECTV Community Specialist

What model DVR/Receiver?  It could be failing.

Thanks.  The logo does not move. It is just stuck on the screen and the only way to fix it is to reset the receiver. It won’t change channels etc. it’s a genie receiver
