AppleTV App No Longer Working
The AppleTV App is no longer working, once you sign in with my user ID and password it brings up the screen to select either Stream or Satellite service. Neither one is selectable and it just stays on that screen.

First thing to try is deleting and reinstalling the DirecTV Stream App.

Have tried restarting the AppleTV and deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times.

Ask to speak to a supervisor and have them escalate and escalate and escalate. The solution is to de-link the two accounts. After my accounts were de-linked I had to delete the directv app and re-install. It is now working.

They are telling me because I am a satellite customer they no longer offer streaming on smart tv or appletv. I used to have DIRECTV stream before switching over to satellite because that was the only way to get Sunday Ticket. Now Sunday Ticket is with YouTube and now I can’t watch on the app so they are telling me to buy two boxes for the other tv’s. I’m super upset. I told them about delinking them but they are saying that’s not the problem. I’m on hold for the loyalty dept now

The DTV app combines both sat and streaming services. If you are a sat customer then not all channels can be streamed to the app.

I can’t watch at all. After over 3 hours and 5 reps I’m waiting on a call back from a manager. I should be able to wait on the AppleTV app. It will not allow me to click on a selection to start watching.
