All of the HD channels are not HD.

For some reason, I’ve been trying to find a solution why every channel has poor quality. I’ve tried changing the resolution to 1080p, reset the genie, and reset my network.

I have a q60 series Samsung smart TV. Hopefully someone has a solution.

Have you made sure that you are tuning to the HD version of each channel rather than the SD? Furthermore, go to Settings, Display, and hide SD duplicates or show all channels, depending on which you prefer. This also could be your receiver disabling HD channels or automatically tuning to SD due to a satellite dish not being properly aimed. However, first try to disable SD duplicates and post back if this solves the issue.

I just got DIRECTV. I only get one or two local (Chicago suburbs) news stations in HD. Why would this be?
