Uverse tv. Samsung tv is about a year old. Sound has now returned with no additional action other than tv being off for several hours. I wonder if uverse box is going bad.
I would switch the input to TV/Antenna bypassing the Uverse receiver. You may or may not be able to pick any OTA channels in your area. If so, you could see if it’s a UV problem or a TV.
But yes, equipment dies, especially if it’s old. If you determine that it’s a UV issue, call CS for a replacement STB.
