wireless headphones
Are there any wireless headphones (reasonably priced) that I can connect to my tv U Verse service that will also work with my blu ray player without me changing the connections each time?

Since your Uverse box does not produce sound, that would be ludicrous (and impossible).
Headphones (wireless or otherwise) will be connected to your TV.

...or any other device that has audio output in some form. That includes your blu-ray player.
The headphone's wireless transmitter can only be attached to one audio source at a time. If there's a device to combine multiple audio inputs into a single output without the "dead" inputs causing some kind of audio problems I am not aware of it . There are audio mixers that do this but they probably cost more than the headphones and even there I am not sure how well they do with completely dead inputs.
So, in the end, you will need a audio switch of some sort. It's probably the cheapest route. Some probably have an IR remote (yet another remote) so it wouldn't be that big a hardship to switch it.
