wireless Access point not maintaining connection

The TV's connected to wireless receiver lose signal often.  This is annoying.  Do not wish to have wires all over my home.  Is there a way to increase the wireless signal or ADD  another access point

Do the TVs lose signal often, or do the Wireless Receivers themselves?  Assuming the latter, how far away from the WAP are they?  Are they on the same floor?  Are you using the 5 GHz band a lot for other things?

The tech is what it is, and there’s no way to increase its wireless range.  Make sure there’s at least 3 ft separation between WAP and gateway, but moreover reposition the WAP and settop boxes to be closer to each other.  Anything that obstructs line of sight will decrease effective range.
The WAP can use a longer Ethernet cable to move it closer to receivers if that’s an option for you.
