Wired receiver
I have a wired receiver for main tv and a wireless for 2nd tv. I want to move the main tv to new location. Can I replace the wired receiver with wireless receiver? Or do I have to get another wireless receiver and keep the wired one but with no tv connected.

You used the terms Wired and Wireless Receiver. Do you have U-verse TV or AT&T TV? Those are two very different things. Let us know so we can move this post to the right place, and so we can make sure you get the right answer.
If you do have U-verse TV, then you must have at least one wired receiver, which is your DVR. The DVR may not be wireless; it has to be connected by Ethernet (or in limited situations, coax) back to the Gateway. You can have a headless DVR (i.e. not connected to a TV), but then you'd have to rent another Wireless Receiver for your TV for an additional $10/month (plus the one-time delivery charge).
If you have AT&T TV, then it doesn't matter how the box is connected.

Not just U-Verse TV and AT&T, but another possibility is DirecTV since that has wireless Mini Genies (Clients, but many people mistakenly refer to as receivers).
Just want to be sure which TV provider you have so you get the right info.

It is U-verse and thanks for confirmation. I will need to get an additional wireless receiver if and when I move TV.
