Which is the better DVR the VIP2262 or the ISB7500?
I’ve had Dr the 7500 for about 4 years now and it’s starting to get sketchy but still works with all my recordings. AT&T sent me a VIP2262. I haven’t installed it yet. Which is the better DVR?
Thanks

I'm not sure there's a difference. Keep in mind that you can't transfer recordings.
If it's "starting to get wonky"...howso?
This article hints that the ISB might be better...but I think the capacity is the same either way.

baseballisback- that link was the kind of info I was looking for. It was getting wonky because it wasn’t responding to rebooting when it wasn’t working right. I called Tech support and it still would sit there with the AT&T logo and the spinning circle in the bottom right corner, not moving. Tech went through all the diagnostics and it still sat there. Then, just as it came back, she had already put in an order for a DVR replacement. So I have this VIP2262 but since the ISB7500 seems to be working and has all my recorded stuff (and I’ve had it for about 4 years) I was weighing the options of just swapping them out. But I think I’ll keep the ISB7500 and sent the other back. Thanks for the help.

The only reason I'd swap is:
1) Lots of issues with the current DVR
2) You need the two extra streams.
Just out of curiosity, what's your download speed? I assume AT&T internet.

The connection speed on WiFi is between 50Mbps and about 80. And yes AT&T Uverse.

That's odd. I thought they only shipped the DVR with six stream capability to internet 1000 customers.
Apparently
1) That changed
Or
2) It was an oversight/goof
Or
3) It was all they had.
