Want to send video to tv and audio to receiver and keep HD signal. Is this possible?
I have a vintage stereo receiver that I want to run my sound through. If I take everything through the HDMI to the tv, then back to a digital converter into the receiver and back out to the speakers, I am thinking there will be a video/sound delay. There is no headphone jack on the TV. Can I run the HD video only from the receiver via HDMI and the sound directly to the receiver from the U-verse? Thanks.

Can you please provide the make and model of the stereo system? The reason why we ask this is, so we can determine if the stereo system is compatible. Also, can you provide a picture of your setup, so we can get a point of reference?
