U-verse TV remote doesn't work anymore

I have two S10-53 Tv remotes and one has stopped working. Will not turn Tv on or off. No on demand or recorded TV etc. These are old and probably worn out. I tried twice to have customer service replace it and they act like thy know how to do it but I never recieve a new remote. The last time I called my bill went up $ 10.00 for no reason and no remote. As much as pay for U-verse this is ridulous!
