U-Verse TV. Receiver box does not match account settings
For years my LG TV has been connected and working fine with it's Cisco ISB 7005. Three days ago the receiver to our Samsung TV was replaced and brought on line. Suddenly the LG TV can not connect. Message: "This set top box does not match the account settings." The ISB 7005 is not listed on the account page showing the receivers associated with my account.
Automated phone system will not put me through to 24/7 tech support; claims it after hours.

When you switched out your receiver for the Samsung, the LG's receiver was the one actually taken off your account (instead of the Samsung).
You will have to get a live AT&T person to fix this. If ATThelp comes along and offers a DM, then they might can help you. Or you can call the support number again; it must have decided that your call was not actually technical support, or they've decided to change the hours again without telling anyone.

After going around with Customer Service they decided I did need Tech Support. Not only did someone delete the wrong receiver, they were miss routed a receiver through a WiFi receiver... or something like that. I don't understand how any of it works. TS said they needed to fix the routing and would call back when they had done that. They called me back with a working the solution for about 2 hrs later. Thanks for your help
