Uverse remote code for OLED77CXPUA?

We signed up for at&t uverse tv in 2020.  They gave us an ancient router and remote pictured below.  I can’t find any directions or codes for this remote and the LG OLED77CXPUA.  I called AT&T in 2021 who said I couldn't upgrade remote or router. I am stuck with this.  So FRUSTRATING!

Yeah....that's not a Uverse remote.  That's a DirecTV remote as seen HERE

Are you sure it was U-Verse and not a streaming product now known as DirecTV Stream? DirecTV Stream is similar to Hulu and Fubo. U-Verse has never had that remote.

A Google search of "DirecTV Stream remote" makes it seem like you have one of those pictured. If you can access apps such as HBO Max and Netflix via that remote, you definitely have DirecTV Stream.

Forums for DirecTV Stream are at:

http://forums.directv.com

Normally, I'd close this thread, but on the off chance you do have U-Verse, I'm keeping it open...but all signs point to DirecTV Stream.

Direct tv stream didn't exist when we signed for AT&T tv in august 2020.  Support told me I had uverse when I called.

AT&T TV and UverseTV are 2 different products.

You can't 'sign up for AT&T TV' and then say you have UverseTV.  You either have AT&T TV (now DirecTV Stream) OR you have Uverse TV and if that's the remote you are using you have DirecTV Stream (previously AT&T TV).

So you have a DVR?  How many STBs do you have?  What are the models on those (marked on the front)?  What Uverse package are you paying for?  U200...U300...U450?  If none of this sounds familiar, you don't have UverseTV.

AT&T TV was a streaming product. I forget the exact happenings, but it merged with DirecTV's streaming product, went through some name changes and is now known as DirecTV Stream.

DirecTV Stream may not have existed in 2020 by that name, but that's what it's known by now.

AT&T stopped selling U-Verse to new customers in early 2020.

We did not sign a contract for direct tv stream in 2020.  I need to find the contract and confirm this.

If you can take a screenshot of your online bill (do not post any information such as account number or address), it should definitely help ascertain what you have.

@baseballisback   If we knew what kind of TV equipment they had, that would confirm their service too.

Osprey!

I was trying to think of the name of that box that DirecTV Stream uses and it just came to me.

The service now known as DirecTV Stream uses Osprey.

U-Verse just uses regular DVRs, receivers and wireless receivers.
