U-verse recordings disappearing

We recently upgraded to fiber after they continuously kept hounding it’s about it. That required moving all of the equipment to a back bedroom and every since we have made the switch it has been nothing but a disaster! We had 80% or more of recordings and all of a sudden that started  randomly disappearing until they were all gone. They sent us a new dvr box and all was good for a couple of weeks and it started again. When we go to recordings it says they are unavailable and when they show back up, a number of them have disappeared. They will all be gone by the end of the day. Anyone else have this problem and how do we fix this?  Thank you!

Try doing the following:

  • Rebooting your gateway and the receiver to refresh the connection.
  • If your receiver is plugged into a surge protector, we advice plugging it directly into the wall. Surge protectors sometimes affect the amount of power going to the receiver which can cause various issues.
