UVERSE EQUIPMENT RETURN
After MANY frustrating hours trying to communicate with AT&T, I think an order finally completed to discontinue my Uverse TV. I am keeping my AT&T internet service. I was told an email would be sent to give specific details on what equipment should be returned. I have not received any email and I have checked my spam folder several times. When I google what to return, it states that all receivers and remotes should be returned. Do I need to confirm serial numbers or any info from the receivers before sending them to AT&T? I have taken pictures of everything that I have, and I expect UPS to document everything they are shipping to AT&T. Would that be sufficient to make sure I receive no surprise bill for equipment that AT&T claims is not returned? I am a retiree of AT&T after 31 years of service and I can't believe what customer service has become in today's world.

Same answer as your other post. Take it all to ups or fedex they will scan em box em and ship em at no cost to you. They will give you a receipt with all serial numbers.

Thanks for the info, but I have been told that AT&T may want things besides the receivers and remotes such as cords and cables. I just wanted an official itemized list from AT&T so there is no misunderstanding. I know that is too much to ask but it would be nice to not have to call them again because they can't keep their records straight.

As said, attempt your best to send it all back except the gateway. Remotes, cord, boxes, etc.
If UPS/FedEx won't accept the item(s), hold on to them. Put the receipt in a very safe place.
