Using the S20-S1A Uverse Remote

Is there any way to turn only my TV on and off with the S20-S1A remote, as there is with the S-10 remote?

Hey there @Dgerzeeboy. Thanks for reaching out to us, and we'd be happy to help you with your remote question.

To get started, we'd recommend checking out our information on instructions and codes to program your U-verse TV S20 remote. On that page you'll see a link for User guide and programming instructions for S20 remote.

Setting Up the Power Control:
Note: By default the POWER key will turn on and off the receiver each time it is pressed. Once programmed, the Power maco can also turn the TV and Audio Device on and off. Use the
instructions below to change the sequence these devices are powered on and off.
STEP 1:
Enter Program Mode – Press and hold the OK and MENU keys simultaneously for three seconds until the POWER key flashes red twice to confirm you are in program mode.
STEP 2:
Press POWER key – Press the POWER key. The POWER key will blink once and the remote backlighting will remain on.
STEP 3:
Program the power on and off sequence for your devices – Using the illustration to the right, press each key in the sequence you wish to turn on and off when the power key is pressed. The POWER key will flash red once for each device programmed.
STEP 4:
Press OK to save – Press the OK key to save the power control settings. The POWER key will flash red twice.

Thanks, Robert. That solved the problem. I thought it odd that AT&T would eliminate the suite of specific device buttons at the top of the S10 without including those button features when designing the S20. Glad to know that they're actually there. I appreciate your quick response:)
