We recommend you to check on Troubleshoot a wireless U-verse TV receiver
In some instances, rebooting the entire system can restore missing recordings. If it is rebooted too many times, it causes a disaster recovery at which point, all recordings may delete.
If the DVR is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, anything besides a wall outlet, that can cause issues including missing recordings. If you have the DVR plugged into a surge protector, plug it into a wall outlet. This has resolved most loss of recording issues. This article has more information.
