Talk to a real person in support

How do you quickly reach a real person for tech or customer support? 

AT&T has the worst contact for customers that I have ever experienced.

There's no shortcuts, you have to call 800.288.2020 and plan on being on hold for a while. The pandemic has increased call volumes (more people at home) and reduced call center staffing. You can Chat when it's available, but that isn't often as the phones are given priority.

Aicah helped me with my concern and was exceptionally helpful and addressed all my concerns and questions. I do encourage ATT to make accessing a live person easier. My frustration level was a 10 trying to find a number to call. The chat was ineffective because your robot, I’m assuming a robot, could not understand my verbiage or my reason for calling. I am a stock holder with a couple hundred shares, one of the little people. I will bring this concern up at the next stockholder meeting.🙋‍♀️
