"Searching for Signal" every time I change channels
Replaced a TV with an older Samsung TV but every time I change channels it flashes "searching for signal". It does change the channels but the message appears every time. I have rebooted the gateway and wireless receiver. I have tried both HDMI ports. I have tried 3 different HDMI cables and still get the message. This was not a problem with the other TV. Called tech support (ha-ha) with a supposed call-back in less than 24 minutes (it has now been 72 minutes) but I am not holding my breath. One interesting occurrence was when I switched to one of the other HDMI cables, the problem stopped. I was able to change channels without the message appearing BUT I lost sound! I rebooted the receiver again and sound returned and so did the signal messages! Any ideas?

We can assist you with the error message on your TV, bearbirdy72.
Based on the information you provided, we'll have to access your account. We'll send you a Direct Message to gather your information and start working on a resolution. Look for the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page.
In the meantime, use the Smart Home Manager to check for a weak Wi-Fi signal. This might be due to a connectivity issue with your TV.
You can also use the Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool for U-verse TV to run diagnostics.
