S20 remote setup
I just bought a replacement S20 remote. Various keys were sticking on the original remote. I can't get this new one programmed after going through all the steps and reading forum questions/solutions. Can anyone help?

check to make sure the infrared sensor on the TV is working. I had the same problem with an S10-S1 remote couldn't get it programmed to turn the TV on and off and control the volume. AT&T's help desk told me they had changed the codes and you have to use your TV remote to control volume and off and on. That's when I discovered the TV IR sensor wasn't working on my TV.
Good luck

The only suggestions I have is... First make sure it has fresh batteries... Second do a factory reset to remove any changes that may be causing you problems before trying again.

They totally missed the mark there.
