Reporting to BBB and FTC

Like many others, I returned my equipment to the ups store. They scanned it and said everything was fine. I could have sworn I kept my reciept but can't locate it. ATT charged me for the equipment. Although it is useless and I have no reason it keep it. Now seeing thousands of other customers having the same issues... Basically they charge all customers, HOPE THEY CAN'T PROVE IT HAS BEEN RETURNED, and only refund if you have a receipt.

You have 1 tracking number to keep and are responsible for. AT&T has hundreds of thousands of returns to process

This is a customer-to-customer forum. AT&T employees generally don't read this forum. The few employees that do come around choose to do so on their own time.

So...what do you want us to do about it? I've returned a few items over my time as a customer (since 2008) and have never had issues with returns.

We cannot report to BBB or FTC for you. This is a public forum of other customers.

Yes that receipt was for your protection, like it would be for any company. I agree it is an issue right now with returns processing in a timely manner since the pandemic, but it is not their hope that it messes you up.

So call AT&T or report it yourself.
