Replacement Power Block
I've called the number for Customer Service and done the "Chat/automated response" thing and they are to no avail. One of my received power blocks has gone bad. The system tests show good because the other receivers are all up and running. SO automated chat is a no go. The dial in automated response is a no go. The local ATT store is only for wireless products. Where and how can I get a replacement power brick?

By “Power Block/Brick” are you talking about a Battery Backup? I don’t know of any Power Brick for Uverse TV.

Well power block or power brick are what we in the oil business call the convertor block that plugs into 110v AC and converts the output into 12v DC to plug into the back of the receiver. Nonetheless ATT Customer Service just recommended me to buy one on Amazon or ebay.

AT&T never had a problem replacement power blocks/bricks/supplies/whatever you want to call them. I'm guessing they just talked to incompetent offshore customer support. But unless you've tested the receiver with another power supply and it works, obviously there is a possibility the box is fried as well as power supply.

I tested with another power block and the receiver worked perfectly. ATT sent me a new receiver and it has a new power block. The new receiver has a bigger hard drive and a much smaller power block. Shipped and received the old one.
