Remote will not turn tuner
We have a new ATT S-30 remote to replace a defective S-30. Our old remote was programmed to turn the tv, cable box and tuner off at the same time with the power button on the remote. The new remote turns off the tv and cable box but not the tuner. I have to manually turn off the tuner. Is there a way to program the new remote to turn off the tv and tuner at the same time like the old one did?
Thank you.

Hi jimmyturbo, we'd be glad to help you with programming your remote to turn off your tuner!
Please let us know what model your tuner is, so we can help you program the remote to power it off. It's possible that it's not compatible with the newer S-30 remote, but we want look into it and make sure.
We'll be awaiting your response!

Thank you for your response. The tuner is a Yamaha TSR-7850 purchased in 2018. We had a S-30 remote but some of the buttons were failing so AT&T sent us a new S-30 so I would think it would be compatible?
Thank you

Thank you for that update, @jimmyturbo!
Our U-verse TV Remote Control Setup tool can guide you through programming your remote to control your TV and other devices.
Here's all you need to do:
Note: The S20 and S30 remote controls are completely identical in functionality. The only difference is all of the buttons on the S30 model are backlit. Please follow the S20 instructions for the S30 remote.
Additional instructions and remote control user guides are also available.
