Remote S10-S1 won't turn off AV Receiver with TV and U-verse
I was finally able to get my Denon AVR-1912 AV Receiver programmed in my U-Verse S10-S1 remote. When I select Aux, it powers the AV Receiver on and off, but it won't control the volume (which is half the point of an AV Receiver). I tried codes 5006, 5048, 5054, 5085, 5129, 5130, 5131, 5132, 5134, 5152, 5159, 5160, and 5168. What do I need to do to get the U-verse remote to control the volume on my AV Receiver?

Well this is embarrassing. The solution to both problems is in the remote user manual, which I apparently didn't read well enough. The "Advanced Features Setup" section contains two parts. Part A is how to send the volume commands to the same device (in my case the aux device / AVR-1912) and part B is how to program which devices turn on and off together. Sorry for posting before reading thoroughly.

Thanks OttoPylot, I'm not real familiar with CEC, but it's an HDMI protocol, right? My problem is when I press the volume up/down buttons on the U-Verse remote, it send the signal to the television instead of the AV Receiver. Is it possible to set up CEC to send the volume signal from the TV to the AV Receiver?
I started this programming because my Harmony remote broke, and it doesn't look like Logitech is selling them any more. Couldn't find one at Amazon or BestBuy.

Hey @TallJeff and thanks for reaching out to the community forums about your remote and receiver.
Our ace @OttoPylot had a great suggestion regarding the possibility of a 3rd party remote repair if you are interested. Otherwise, we can try to program the remote again using our S10-S1 User Manual as a guide. We see that the setup code for Denon is listed as either 1342 or 1544. It is possible this information may not be compatible with this model of receiver though, and in that case, you would probably find success reaching out to Denon for details regarding their compatibility.
