Hey there SoniaDM. Thanks for reaching out about your U-verse service, and we'd be happy to help with your service.

To get started, we'd recommend that you start off by restarting your U-verse receiver for the error message you're receiving. We'll need for you to unplug your receiver and waiting two minutes, plugging it back in, and then restarting. If that doesn't solve it, then unplug your Wi-Fi gateway and wait two minutes, then plug it back in and restart.

Let us know if this helps.

It did not help. I tried it before as well but still did not work.  I was hoping there were some hard button reset options I could try besides the “ok” and down button.

I would believe another box broke.  I have my DVR as well which is doing the same.  That has been replaces 3 times.

Red X with no number is a connection problem between the receiver and the gateway.

Is the LINK light ON?

How is the receiver connected? COAX, ETHERNET or WIRELESS

May sure the gateway is on and working, have internet OK?

Then check all connections.

TECH dispatch for home wiring issue is a $99 service call.

I ended up calling ATT they sent me two receivers but they are wired.  I had wireless, so now I have find coax and wire up my house.
