Red x on screen

I’ve tried restarting my U-verse for a month… just my main receiver in great room and I’m getting a red X on the screen! Please help because I’ve tried resetting, restarting, checked all cable connections, switched HDMI cord and tried every imput hdmi connections, and I’ve had zero luck. 
my other receivers work.

A red X on your U-verse TV screen is an indication of a boot failure, network issue, or hardware problem. To resolve this issue, you can the following steps:

  • Unplug the TV’s receiver.
  • Wait for five minutes.
  • Plug the receiver back in and power on.

If the issue persists, you can perform a ⁠Non-Disaster Recovery for DVR/Receivers. Please visit the hyperlink which will help you with the steps to troubleshoot.
