problems with my dvd twice in less than 3 years
Hi, We moved in Dec 2018 and since then our dvr has gone out twice and we lost all our recordings and scheduled recordings. ATT is shipping a new dvr but the said everything on the old one is lost. Is there a way to save them? I did reset the gateway and power it off and on which did not hep. I unpluged the dvr and plugged it back in and it worked and the tv hooked to it started working again and the recordings are back on all tvs. When the new dvr comes is there a way to save everything to the new dvr. The old dvr is a Pace 5268AC. Also the internet is connected but with no internet it says. I don't know what that has to do with the dvd. Everytime we call we get someone with a heavy accent that we cannot hardly understand. Thanks in advance.

it needs internet to retrieve a key to unlock the recordings when you access them.

ISB7500 is the correct dvr #, sorry. Since at the moment I have the old dvr working is there anyway to transfer its contents to the new one when I get it tommorrow? What limits the speed, the gateway? Can I get a diff gatway to get more speed? Thanks, Mike

We're here to help with your DVR concerns, @wmh9680!
Just as @my thoughts mentioned, there is no way to swap the recordings from your old DVR to your new DVR.
Regarding internet speeds, you can check out our informative article to find ways to improve your speed. Depending on your internet plan and your usage you may want to upgrade your internet.
