pairing uverse remote to arris tv recieve

If you press the "help" button at the bottom of the U-Verse remote, there should be an option there to synch the remote.

All U-verse TV Receivers receive commands via IR, from any remote that sends the correct IR codes.  There is no pairing involved.  If the remote isn't working (especially if it's working with your TV), I'd make sure the front of the TV Receiver is clear of obstructions and that you're pointing the remote at the TV receiver.

my old remote works. i got 2 new ones and they will not work the recevier

Why did you get two new remotes if the old ones were working?

Are they U-verse TV remotes or Universal remotes or something else?

Uverse remotes.l was told by att that the remotes have to be paired with the arris reciever.they will not tell me anything else.

What model number is your TV receiver and the model number of the remote?
