Only one TV displaying “no signal” message

When I switched inputs to watch cable it gave an error message of no signal. Then after a while (maybe from me trying to troubleshoot) the input for cable grayed out to where I can’t choose it. They shipped a receiver replacement but I’m still not getting the HDMI2 cable input to show up. I’ve never paid attention before but noticed the router lights “paired” and “link” are blinking green. Is the problem the router? All cords are fine and plugged in well. My other TV is working fine for cable.

Is it a wireless receiver? Can you move it closer to the WAP?

Not wireless. But all of it is right next to each other.

We're here to help, @hhihe

Here are some things that we recommend.

If you are using a coax cable between your tv and your receiver, you may need to change the channel up or down to restore the picture.

Let us know if you have additional questions.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

I’ve done all of these steps. The HDMI2 input that I use for cable TV is no longer available to choose like it was before.

We just have a few questions.

  • When was the last time you changed out your HDMI cable?
  • Is this the only receiver you are having issues with?
  • Have you powered cycled your TV?

We'll be awaiting your response.

I'm assuming you tried other HDMI, such as 3 or 4.

If not, you may want to try that. Even if other things work there, try the U-Verse receiver.

Try other HDMI cables in HDMI 2 and in the U-Verse box itself.

New receiver and new HDMI cable worked! Didn’t think to replace that cable but makes sense now that I think about it. Thanks for the advice!
