Losses signal, losing patience

My wireless receiver freezes, sometimes I can channel up and back and get channel back. Now I just lose signal completely. My wired receiver is fine but the wireless receiver is on my last nerve. 

I've unplugged the gateway, reset the receiver and nothing works it has a mind of its own. I heard AT&T is phasing out uverse and am starting to think this is on purpose to get me to cancel it. I pay a lot of money for uverse, internet and wireless phones all from AT&T and at my wits end.

Tell me why I should stay.

How close is your receiver to the WAP? You may need to call 800-288-2020 to get them to send you a new one. Returning the old one is as easy as taking it to your nearest UPS or FedEx store. You can even use the same box.

Update,

called tech support and was walked through solution, unplug wireless receivers then unplug modem, wait 10-15 seconds and plug modem back in. 

Wait till lights are green and stopped blinking then plug wireless receivers back in.

We'll see how long it last this time, fingers crossed.
