loss of access
Once again, I am not getting what I am paying AT&T for. Since yesterday, one of my U-verse TVs is displaying a notice headlined “Activity Data Terms and Conditions” and goes on state that I have purchased a smart TV and tells me what to expect and what to expect.
I have not bought a smart TV and I cannot get this notice off my TV. I have tried all of the usual tricks such as pressing the on-off button, resetting my receiver using the WPS buttons on my receiver, etc.
Please fix this now and give me a statement credit for my multi-day loss of access to mt main TV.

As skeeterintexas seems to be thinking as well... this sounds like a TV issue that has absolutely nothing to do with your U-verse TV Receiver. If you connected your receiver to a different TV, I think you would find the TV Receiver is working fine.
The "Activity Data Terms and Conditions" page is something built into the firmware of Vizio TVs.

Does this happen to be a Vizio TV?

Thanks for the help. Can I correct this myself or do I have to get in touch with Visio?

All of you were right. It was a Visio firmware problem and a Visio rep walked me through the process to resolve it. Thank you all for your help. I am 78 and computer semi-literate.
