looking for a point and shoot UVerse remote- RF or Point anywhere is what I have been told
My remote will not change the channels on my newly installed large screen TV. The box is located behind the TV toward the bottom in the middle. I point the remote directly toward the box and nothing happens most of the time. I saw a Uverse RF remote on line, however, it did not get good reviews and I am wondering if there are any others available to do the job of moving the channels and fast forwarding. Thank.

Your options are basically:
- The AT&T Point anywhere Remote, assuming you can still get one
- The Remote feature of the AT&T U-verse TV app, which has some limitations
- Some sort of IR blaster that supports the somewhat strange protocol that the Mediaroom devices support. The Logitech Harmony series might have helped you here, but that's been shut down. There are others, but I don't remember any names. Maybe someone else here does.

Thanks. It looks like I need to check out ATT TV.
I wish the tech who installed our TV and box was up to date on these challenges and issues with Uverse and remotes. Wasted a lot of time being frustrated.

You have had UVERSE IPTV then changed one of the TV to wall mount large screen... ok
As the UVERSE receiver is IF line of sight...
Install 2 small L brackets under the tv with a shelf that will support the receiver... power cord and HDMI can stay hidden behind the tv.
Now your UVERSE S10, S20 or S30 remote will control the receiver with a visible line of sight to the receiver located underneath the tv.
Just my thoughts...
