I need to order a replacement box

Call CS 1-800-288-2020.  A receiver or DVR can be sent for a self-install. 

You have 21 days to return the old one via UPS/FedEx.  Instructions will be sent via email.

Normally you do not need a box or shipping label, but would deliver the old receiver or DVR to a The UPS Store or FedEx Office.  

I've done it a few times since 2008. It's always best to take the original shipping box and label. In my personal experience, UPS will use the same shipping box your replacement equipment came in, whereas FedEx will use their own.

I don't think I've ever taken the box, though I may have.  It is not required.  Nor do you need to know a return address if you're going to one of these stores that have the computer system that will take your account number, scan in the serial number of the equipment and give you a receipt.

I've returned a Gateway and a Receiver.  Do be sure to have your account number.
