Reboot the gateway first, let all lights come on.  Then reboot the DVR & allow it to come online and then reboot the receiver(s).

@hiphopgirl36 , have you tried what skeeterintexas suggested, or did you just decide to create a whole new post?

Do you also use AT&T Internet?  Is that working?

Ok, well then:

  1. How many U-verse receivers do you have?
  2. Are they all doing the same thing?
  3. Can you post a picture of what the "please wait..." screen looks like to be sure we understand what the receiver is doing?

I have two but the other one is in my room and I have always had problems with that one so I never use it. It’s the one in my living room that is showing to please wait on my tv I will when I get home from work the one in the living room is a wireless one

Ah.  If wireless, then you should also be checking on the WAP, the other box near the Gateway.  Unplug it, wait 30 seconds, plug back in.  Make sure all of its lights come back on.  Do the same for your Receiver.  If that doesn't fix it, post the picture.

It sound like you haven’t heeded the advice give to reboot your hardware in sequence, @hiphopgirl36

I really and strongly suggest this course of action.

Can you provide more details please @hiphopgirl36 about what hardware you have there, make and model, and how they’re connected together?   I’ll assume from your response the gateway box was indeed restarted.

Att U-verse settop box only connects to the gateway via an Ethernet cable or a WAP.

The vertical box is the WAP.  Wireless access point.  It needs to be plugged into the gateway via Ethernet cable, probably what you’re calling the internet box.  The two boxes need to be separated by 3 ft.  I’m assuming the settop box that’s not working is in another room.  The other box in your picture is the DVR and it should be directly connected to the gateway as well.

Is the gateway a BGW210?
