I do not understand the priority arrow settings priorities for recording

There is no way to lock a series priority. You can always change them the shows and how they appear back into the list, but not lock the list.

When you move a program UP the priority list, all other programs move down one spot.  When you move a program DOWN the list, it pushes other programs UP the list.   Be sure to "SAVE".

When you set up a new series record, It goes to the TOP of the list which moves all other series down one spot.  The arrow on the far right SHOOTS the series to the top of the list.

I suggest you do a little hands on experimenting to understand how the Series Priority option  works.

To adjust the priority of recording a series on a Genie, please follow these steps:

1. Press MENU on your remote,
2. Select Recordings.
   
3. Select Manage Recordings.
   
4. Select Series Manager.
   
5. Use the Arrow keys on your remote to highlight the show you want to change priority.
   
6. Use the Right Arrow key on your remote to highlight the small arrows next to the previously highlighted show.
   
7. Finally, use the Up/Down Arrow keys on your remote to change the priority of the show.

This should help you change the priority of your shows as you like. Please let us know if you have any other questions for us!

How do you DELETE IN THE SERIES PRIORITY AS I HAVE SOME SHOWS LISTED 4 X??
