Hide SD channel DVR recording options
I have hidden SD channels on my Uverse TV guide. My question is about my DVR. When I want to record a program, it may list 20 different SD and HD showtimes spread across various times and days. Each particular showtime let's me record either in SD or HD. Is there a way to see just the HD recording options only? That would cut my choices in half, have less pages to scroll down and make sure I don't accidentally record the SD version. If we can hide SD channels on the guide, can we also hide them on our DVR?

Unfortunately not. There are times when I've wanted to record in SD, believe it or not.
YMMV.

I know it's not the solution you seek, but it is possible via the app. (It's also possible to set the app to "save until I delete" as the default.)
Perhaps the app would be a workaround of sorts.
But yeah, the scrolling can be tiresome and especially to the batteries.

Thanks. I don't use the app. I record straight from my DVR. My DVR lets me choose when I delete it so that isn't an issue. I was just trying to eliminate SD channels from the list of showings of whatever show I'm trying to record because I don't need to see them or want to scroll through unnecessary shows in SD.
