Have older model Cisco DVR - with a pace AC adapter/can this cause conflicts?

I have a Cisco DVR that is older and since I moved several months ago, I've had nothing but problems anything from a to z. Tech went to his truck and came back with some cords but I brought all of mine with me  from my old address. Bottom line I've had so many different issues and I'm want to know if this could be the main problem. Thank you  very much for your help.

Hey @learnwhatican! We'd be happy to help you with the intermittent service you've been experiencing.

We would suggest you start off by troubleshooting your receiver:

  • Press Menu
  • Select Help > Information > Troubleshoot and Resolve > TV > DVR
  • Follow the onscreen preompts.

You can also try restarting your receivers which can help fix many receiver problems. To do this, plress and hold the Power button for 10 seconds. This takes 5-8 minutes and will impact any DVR recordings in progress.

Also, are you receiving an error code or message on your screen? This will help us figure out what is causing the intermittent service.

We look forward to hearing from you.
