Error Message on myatt.com accounts on the

The first time I log onto my att.com accounts on the webpage, I receive this error message

Looks like you’ve tried to sign in unsuccessfully too many times. "Recover your ID or reset your password to continue.

CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]". This happens every couple of weeks. What can I do to resolve? This happens regularly.

The 205 error code you're seeing is essentially due to bad actors who have been trying to access AT&T email accounts. We're aware that this is happening, and are currently working toward a resolution. Learn more about the dreaded 205 error code and what we're doing to fix it.

In the meantime, we recommend following the troubleshooting options below:

  1. Clear your browser's cache and cookies to remove any stored password information. Be sure to close and then re-open your browser after this step.

      2.Reset your password using the Forgot password option.
