My DVR is recording a black screen. Any ideas on how to fix?

Assuming you're recording a channel you're paying for, what happens when you try to watch that channel live?
Keep in mind that you cannot record "on demand" TV.

If you've rebooted the DVR with no resolution, call CS 1-800-288-2020. If they determine that the DVR needs to be replaced, it will be sent for a self-install.
