Do other things work in that outlet? Is the power light on the DVR coming on?

Yes, other things are working. There is no green light or any other light.

Let's get that DVR powered back on, justinrhendrix!

We understand that you moved the DVR and now it won't power back on. Let's look at a few things

  1. Was the DVR plugged into a surge protector or a dedicated wall outlet? The reason why for that question is that the cord itself could of lost electronic voltage. If it was plugged into a surge protector move it to a dedicated wall outlet.
  2. Examine to connector part of the cord, look for any bends or breaks. That will let you know that the cord is damaged and the DVR itself will need to be replaced.
  3. Move the DVR back to it original position to see if the power returns. Sometimes moving things back can resolve a problem.

If all of these tips and tricks do not solve the power problem, then the DVR itself will need to be replaced. If you would like to follow that path, please reach back out here and we can help you.

@justinrhendrix

An easy thing to try is plug-in power in the back of the unit , count to three then unplug, count to three and plug in again.  Do this three times.  After the last plug-in, wait patiently to see if a gray gear appears on the TV.  If yes, you’re golden. Just chill while the DVR reloads its code from att host servers as it will take several minutes for everything to complete .

In order for the procedure to work, a wired connection back to the gateway is required.
