Distance Limit on wireless receivers from WAP
Wanting to add 2 more wireless receivers for a total of 3. What’s the maximum distance from the WAP that the receiver can be used?

I'm not sure there is a published distance, but it is 5 GHz, so it's not terribly far. Walls and things will interfere. And if you have the older type of WAP, it can only handle 2 receivers.

To support (3) wireless receivers will need either the 501 or 2500 WAP, not the taco shell design 401 which only supports max (2) 7005 receivers.
While the first two connected wireless receivers can be the 1st generation 7005, the additional units up to 5 max have to the second generation receivers of either 7105 or 2500.
As Uverse receivers in general and wireless in particular, especially 2nd gen are in short supply since ATT stopped offering Uverse IPTV in March 2020… 3 years ago… you might have difficulty in obtaining the desired models.
If available, the units will be one time charge of $49 each plus $10 per month per receiver added to your monthly bill.
Might be time to consider DirecTV Stream where you can buy the receivers for $120 each with no monthly charge.
Just my thoughts…

Thanks for prompt feedback to all but if I continue to use the ATT wireless receivers will the distance still be a problem. I currently have a wap -VAP2500, and wireless receiver ISB 7005. If I can find 2 additional models must be 7105 or 2500. (or possibly one of these could be a 7005?)
The furthest unit from the wap could be 60 ft. more or less with several walls between, due to bathroom, closets and room walls. Also is it possible to find these units on the used market? If so, would this require any upgrades to be reported on my Att Acct.? Thanks again for feedback.

I would not expect that you would be happy at 60 feet.
It is possible. However, AT&T never sold them to customers and the other potential sources aren't nearly as significant. Thus anything you'd find would likely actually be AT&T property being improperly offered for sale.
Yes, you will not be able to get a receiver to work until it is registered on your AT&T account. And they would charge you the same fees as if they shipped you one. The monthly fee covers their costs to the programmers for the additional screen able to watch all the channels that they're providing to you. The one-time charge is primarily profit, but also covers the expense of the helping you get it set up right.
