Convert wired cable box to wireless?

I have two wired cable boxes.  I’m only using one on my main tv with gateway.  I want to use the other one in bedroom.  Called att to order tech to install and CSR said that the wired box can be converted to wireless with an ONT cable, BGW320,  and Wi-Fi extenders, (air ties 4971).  She is sending this equipment.

sounds too good to be true.  Is this possible?

The DVR must remained wired via either Coax or Ethernet.  Up to four other receivers may be wireless, served by a single Wireless Access Point provided by AT&T (though there may be a one time fee for getting a wireless receiver).

A BGW320 doesn't have coax, so if your DVR is in the same room with the Gateway, it can be easily switched to Ethernet, and if the other receiver is in a reasonably close place without intervening interference, the wireless connection should be okay.

Thanks, I may have more questions after I receive, and try to install.
