BEWARE OF REPLACEMENT DVR! Had to replace my DVR. New one had pay for view data on it and I was charged.
A couple months ago, my UVERSE DVR stopped working. ATT send me another one and I replaced in on June 12th. So I was just looking at my account and noticed a $70 plus charge for pay for view movies and a wrestling match, all on that day. Neither me or my wife ever pay any more of the already high cost of Uverse to watch more content and we both HATE wrestling! I got on chat customer service and explained that I had not purchased any content and do not do that. They said sorry, it was billed on remote. I said I did not do it, nor anyone in my home. They said too bad, so I called in and explained and someone said they would give me a credit. I hope this happens as I have heard stories where this did not happen. SO, if you replace your DVR, make sure your dont get someone else's charges on your bill.

If you don't get resolution from Customer Service, file a complaint with the BBB. Those are forwarded and handled by "higher ups" (OOP).
