Being charged for equipment that the service tech took
I moved 2 months ago, but carried over my equipment and services with AT&T. I brought all of the equipment from my old house to the new house. The service tech had to change out my TV receiver and took my old one. I am now being billed $150.00 for missing receiver that I don't have and that AT&T representative took. I have called multiple times and each time they take hours to "investigate" and tell me that I will be good and they will create a ticket to refund the fee. But the ticket keeps getting denied and saying I still owe for missing equipment. This is the craziest thing I've ever had to deal with. On top of this, my bill went up $60 with the move for my tv/internet because they said their system accidentally kicked out my grandfathered in price and that it should not have done that, but they have no way to fix it so now I just owe the higher price each month. Completely unacceptable and disgusting practice.

Lesson learned: NEVER LET A TECH TAKE YOUR EQUIPMENT.
File a complaint with the BBB. Those are forwarded to the OOP. Someone should contact you.
