AT&T U-verse DVR not recording scheduled series

We have AT&T U-verse with one hard wired receiver and one wireless receiver.  When attempting to set up a recording schedule for a TV show series, in this case "Jeopardy," I can set up the schedule but the DVR does not record the show.  I've rebooted, reset, etc. but result is the same.
