Let's get you connected again, @Cab045

Just in case the instructions have changed, here's how to connect the iPhone X to Wi-Fi.

1. When Wi-Fi is turned on, the device will search for networks automatically. Select the desired Wi-Fi network. If required, enter the Wi-Fi network password then select Join.

Note: Secure networks will display with a Lock icon. To connect to a hidden or unbroadcasted Wi-Fi network select Other. You will need to enter the Network Name (SSID)Security, and Password (if necessary) to continue.

2. When the iPhone is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi icon wifi icon will be displayed in the Status bar.

If you're still not able to connect, you may want to try restarting your gateway as this can refresh your network and connections.

  1. Unplug the power cord from the back of your gateway or modem. If you have:
    • An internal battery backup, remove it
    • DSL, unplug the phone cord from your modem or gateway
  2. Wait 20 seconds.
  3. Put the internal battery back in if you have one.
  4. Plug the power cord back in. And, if you have DSL service, reconnect the phone cord.
  5. Wait up to 10 minutes for the gateway or modem to restart and your Broadband light to turn solid green.

Please let us know if this helps!

@Cab045 And while you’re at it , make sure your receivers are plugged into the wall socket </sarcasm >.

As users we see this problem, have reported it numerous times, and it continues to go unresolved.  Sorry, but that’s the state of affairs on this product.

After I posted, I saw the other posts about the same thing. Wish they would fix the app, so much easier when it works to change channels on 3 TVs with boxes that are next to each other. Thanks!

Let's get you reconnected on the app, @Cab045.

If the steps above didn't help with getting you reconnected, you may want to try troubleshooting the UVerse app. Here are a few steps you can take to try to resolve this issue:

  • Restart the device.
  • Delete cache. Varies on phone, browser or device operating system.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app
  • Verify you have the latest software/ operating system on your phone or tablet
  • Turn off other apps that may be in use
  • Reset your password – This can help sync up your account.
  • In some instances, restoring the phone has resolved app function. You may lose pictures and other data if this is performed.
  • Also, be sure to report/post a review in the applicable software store for your affected device to help address an issue.

Let us know if the information helps!

This doesn't help. It is a problem with the app and the remote controls setting. The app works if I want to check the guide, art something to record and delete recordings. It just won't connect to use the remote control.
